Repair works on Howrah-Mumbai mainline, Trains to be affected

Rail movement on Howrah-Mumbai mainline is likely to be affected on 21st and 22nd of this month, due to repairing of Bridge no.206(DN) on Goilkera-Posoita section of Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway. According to sources, Train no. 58115/58116 Chakradharpur-Rourkela-Chakradharpur Saranda Passenger has been cancelled for two days while Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Express and Bilaspur-Tatanagar Special have been short terminated.Services of Ispat Express has been suspended between Chakradharpur and Rourkela, and this train will ply between Howrah and Chakradharpur as 12871 and return from Chakradharpur to Howrah as 12872.The same will also apply between Rourkela and Titlagarh. 08114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Passenger will originate from Rourkela and will ply to Bilaspur.

Some trains plying between Rourkela and Howrah/Tatanagar have been diverted,especially those running on down line. These trains will be diverted via Hatia-Muri-Koteshila-Purulia-Chandil-Tatanagar on 21st and 22nd November. 18189/18190 Tata-Alleppey Express is on this list while its counterpart 13351/13352 Dhanbad-Alleppey Express has been rescheduled.Similarly 18029 Lokmanya Tilak(T)-Shalimar Express which will depart on 19th from LTT, will be diverted via Hatia-Muri on 21st November. 12833 Ahmedabad-Howrah Express departing on 19th and 20th November will be diverted via Hatia-Muri to reach Tatanagar on 21st and 22nd November. Other trains like 12905 Porbandar-Howrah Express and 18006 Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express have also been rescheduled.Railway authorities have been directed to handle the situation arising of this rescheduling and have been instructed to complete the repair works as soon as possible.
